On the centenary of the Balfour Declaration, Cinema Palestino presents Reels of memory, a reflection on history and memory in Palestinian cinema: an afternoon of films, talks and discussions. Shifting Focus was planned and put together by five talented 16-19 year olds from this year’s BFI Residential: Programming, which runs here at Showroom Cinema. On the week-long residential, 30 young people came to Sheffield from all over the UK to learn about film programming, marketing, and distribution.
